It’s game 6.  Stop fucking crying every time Calloway starts a player you don’t want playing.  Jose Reyes is going to play.  He’s going to give Amed Rosario and Asdrubal Cabrera rest.  And it’s fine. I know most of you who never played before will never understand this, but players have to play to stay sharp.  Also, it’s early in the season.  Players aren’t fully in game shape yet.  Players aren’t allowed to take steroids or amphetamines anymore.  So guys like Rosario are going to rest, so they don’t wear out. His body isn’t in it’s physical prime yet.  Couple that with the fact that Jose Reyes has 32 career at bats against today’s pitcher, Stephen Strasburg, he is going to get consideration.

I Miss Lucas Duda

So sit down and shut up.  The team is 4-1 so far. For the first time in years the Mets have started the season with capable bench players. Bench players that deserve at bats, and need at bats.  It’s nice to have Jose Reyes and Wilmer Flores and now Brandon Nimmo instead of Eric Campbell and Josh Satin and Ty Kelly.  If you’re going to cry like this when they’re playing well, id hate to see how insufferable you guys are during their first losing streak.
